Final Fantasy 6 Hack

I was playing a strange FF6 hack. An encounter started, and a video of the hack's creator appeared over where the enemies would be. He cast some kind of status effect on the characters that made them disappear temporarily. After the battle, the party contained duplicates of those characters that looked slightly different, as though their appearance was merged with the hack creator's.

I was worried that the game would crash because of the duplicate characters, so I want to the party selection screen to see everyone at once. The original characters were there along with a few duplicates. I looked carefully at how the duplicates had the hack creator's features in both their portraits and sprites.

The next part was less dreamlike: I was just thinking about how to use an AI model to create new sprites and portraits that matched up. The walking and battle animations would need to be consistent, so simple image generation is not enough.

Odd Conspiracy

I was in front of a row of P.O. boxes, and saw Jimmy Carter putting a large amount of cash into one near the top. Someone nearby said that presidents were often depositing money there.

Somehow I got my hands on a secret document that also doubled as an umbrella. When I held it up, I would be pulled into the air. As I moved closer to the right location, the pull would get stronger. It took me to a city on a floating island, but this didn't really make a difference in the scenery. The whole document thing fizzled out.

I was supposed to meet with someone to research the conspiracy, and watch a movie to prepare. The movie was shown at a theater with crappy seats. I tried focusing on the movie but it was boring and seemed to have no information. The meeting was starting near the end of the movie, but I wanted to see the ending.
